GRE score has been a mandatory requirement for admission to Grad courses in science and humanities streams. Today, GRE scores are acceptable at MBA schools in the United States too. The total time duration of the test is 3 hours 45 minutes. One minute breaks are offered after each section and a 10-minute break after the third section. The total score of GRE is 340 The test consists of 6 sections. These sections may occur in any order in the test.

Quantitative reasoning (two sections)	20 questions per section. The scoring s 130 to 170 with 1 point increments.	70 minutes (35 minutes per section)
Experimental or Research (one section)	(Extra unscored Verbal Reasoning  or Quantitative Reasoning section that doesn't count towards the final score).	Varies

You will need your passport and test fee of USD 205 to give GRE. The GRE score is valid for 5 years. Results are available online after two weeks of test date.
