What is a Study Permit?

Study Permit is valid until the length of your study program with an additional 90 days. The extra 90 days allows you time to either leave Canada or to apply for extension. The date of expiry of study permit is provided at the time of issuing it.

In case you finish your studies before the course end date, the 90 days extra period will be valid from the course end date irrespective of the date mentioned on your study permit.

How can you get a Social Insurance Number (SIN) in Canada?
